What cookies are

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies — local storage and session storage — do much the same thing. This page uses “cookies” to mean all of them.

What we use them for

advicesolutions.lv has no login, no shopping basket and no forms, so we set no cookies that are strictly necessary for a function you asked for. Every cookie listed below is a measurement cookie: it exists so we can see how many people visit, which brands they open, and where they came from.

Cookies used on this site

These tools are loaded through Google Tag Manager (container GTM-P2T4). Providers occasionally rename or add cookies; the list above reflects what we observed on this site on 22 August 2026.

The Meta Pixel also stores lastExternalReferrer in local storage, and Microsoft Clarity uses session storage to avoid sending the same measurement twice in one visit.

When they are set

None of them are set when you first arrive. On your first visit we show a bar at the bottom of the page with two choices:

Your choice is stored in your browser's local storage under as-consent. That entry is the one thing we keep regardless of your answer — without it we would have to ask again on every page.

Changing your mind

Select Cookie settings at the bottom of any page to bring the bar back and choose again. Switching from Accept to Decline deletes the measurement cookies already in your browser and reloads the page without the tracking scripts.

Other ways to control them

Blocking these cookies does not break anything on this site — every page works the same way without them.
